Legoland is located in Vaughn Mills, just North of Toronto. If you are not driving, it is an adventure getting there by public transit. You first have to take TTC to Downsview station and then get a YRT (York Regional Transportation) bus. The YRT bus will then get you to a bus terminal at York University. From there, you have to get another bus, which will take you to the Vaughn Mills shopping center. This is where Legoland is.
There are plenty of Lego people to greet you as you enter into the main part of Legoland.
The best part about Lego land, was this scale model of Toronto, entirely built out of Lego.
Some of the photos are at a bit of a weird angle because i had to lean over glass. All the photos were taken with the X-E1, no flash.
They had lights over the model that would simulate night & day, hence some of the photos being darker then others.
This is really the main attraction of Legoland. Once you get past here, there is a cafeteria and a big play area for kids.
The cafeteria serves decent enough food, but expensive of course. You don’t have much choice but to buy food inside, because there is no in & out with the tickets.
Here is the kitchen staff.
Once finished, you are directed straight into the Lego store. There is no other way out but through the store. Therefore, there is no quick escape without your kids wanting something. Well played Lego!
