The X10 & The Stations Of The Cross

There is a beautiful garden that is part of St. Josephs Oratory and all along the pathway, you will see the stations of the cross.  It is a very peaceful place to go to and it’s a pleasure to just  take a slow, leisurely walk through it.

On a bright sunny day, it can be challenging taking photos in this garden.  There are a lot of shadows, as well as a lot of sunshine coming through the trees, hitting your scene with a patchwork of light.  Further, since the statues are “white”, you may overexpose them is the sun is hitting them directly.

I did not always have the best angle because there were people “posing” in front of the statues and they just would not go away.  I made do with what i could get.

Using the optical viewfinder was a slight challenge, since there is no information displayed at all.  Eventually, i turned to using the LCD screen.
